Returns, Refunds, and Warranty
1. Right of Withdrawal
If you are an individual consumer and have purchased a product online, you have the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days from the date on which you or a person designated by you, other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the product.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us by sending an unambiguous statement to hello@arep.ro or by using the online return form.
2. Online Withdrawal Function
For online orders, you can use the online withdrawal function available at https://en.arep.ro/return-form.
After submitting an online withdrawal request, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your request.
3. Return Deadline
The product must be returned without undue delay and, in any case, no later than 14 days from the date on which you notified us of your decision to withdraw.
The deadline is met if the product is shipped before the 14-day period expires.
4. Return Costs
The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the buyer, unless the product is non-conforming, damaged upon delivery, incorrectly delivered, or we have agreed in writing to cover this cost.
We recommend returning the product in packaging that offers protection similar to the original packaging, especially for works on paper, rolled prints, or works on rigid supports.
5. Refunds
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of the date we are notified of your decision to withdraw.
We may delay the refund until we receive the returned product or until we receive proof that the product has been shipped to us, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you have specifically requested a different refund method.
6. Condition of the Returned Product
The product must be returned in the condition in which it was delivered, free from damage caused by improper handling, bending, scratching, staining, assembly, exposure to moisture, or any alterations to the product.
The buyer is responsible for any reduction in the product’s value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product.
7. Products Exempt from the Right of Withdrawal
Products made to order, customized, or manufactured according to specifications provided by the buyer cannot be returned simply by exercising the right of withdrawal, except in cases where they are non-conforming, damaged, or incorrectly delivered.
This exception applies, for example, to products created specifically for the customer, special sizes, custom work, modifications expressly requested by the customer, or other products that are not part of the standard offering available on the website.
Standard prints listed on the website, in the available sizes, are eligible for return. The exception applies only to customized products or those made to the customer's specifications.
8. Legal Warranty of Conformity
Products are covered by the legal warranty of conformity, in accordance with applicable law. This warranty covers situations where the delivered product does not match the description, is damaged, incomplete, or has a defect existing at the time of delivery.
For goods sold to consumers, the seller is liable for nonconformities existing at the time of delivery and discovered within the applicable legal timeframe, including the minimum two-year period provided for the statutory warranty of conformity for goods.
In the event of a nonconformity, the consumer may be entitled, under the terms of the law, to have the product brought into conformity, to a replacement, to a proportional price reduction, or to termination of the contract.
9. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper handling, storage under unsuitable conditions, excessive exposure to moisture, strong direct light, heat sources, impact, bending, cutting, incorrect installation, or any alterations made to the product after delivery.
For handcrafted items, minor variations in texture, sheen, edges, surface, or traces of the artistic process do not constitute defects if they are inherent to the nature of the piece and are visible or mentioned in the product description.

The return address will be provided once your request has been processed.
