1. General Information
The arep.ro website is operated by Atelier AREP S.R.L., with its registered office in Bucharest, at 222 Calea Griviței, Block 7, Staircase A, 6th Floor, Apartment 26, CUI 52731437, Trade Registry No. J2025080071009.
By accessing the website and placing an order, the user confirms that they have read and accept these Terms and Conditions, as well as the supplementary policies regarding delivery, payment, returns, warranty, privacy, and cookies.
2. Products Sold
The products available on the website may include original works of art, works on paper, art prints, and other physical products related to the artistic activities of AREP/Atelier AREP S.R.L.
Each product is described on its dedicated page, including information such as dimensions, medium, technique, format, availability, shipping method, and, where applicable, details regarding framing or product presentation.
Product images are presented as accurately as possible. However, there may be minor differences between the colors displayed on the screen and the physical product, depending on device calibration, brightness, and lighting conditions.
3. Original Works and Natural Variations
For original, handcrafted works, slight variations in texture, edges, relief, sheen, traces of the artistic process, or subtle surface differences are part of the work’s character and do not, in and of themselves, constitute defects or nonconformities.
For works on paper, there may be natural characteristics of the medium and the creative process, including slight ripples, variations in absorption, or surface differences, provided these are inherent to the nature of the work and do not affect normal use or the product description.
4. Availability and Ordering
Products available in the store may be in stock, produced in limited editions, or made to order, depending on each product’s description.
Placing an order on the website constitutes the buyer’s intention to purchase the selected product. The contract is considered concluded upon confirmation of the order and payment, under the terms and conditions stated on the website.
We reserve the right to cancel an order in situations such as product unavailability, an obvious error in price or description, the inability to process payment, or reasonable suspicion of a fraudulent order. In such cases, any amounts paid will be refunded.
5. Prices and Taxes
The prices displayed on the website are in RON and include applicable taxes, unless otherwise stated.
Shipping costs, if any, are displayed before the order is finalized. If shipping is included in the price or offered free of charge, this will be indicated at checkout or on the product page.
We reserve the right to change product prices without prior notice. Changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
6. Payment
Payment for orders can be made online using the methods available on the checkout page, such as credit card, PayPal, or other methods enabled on the website.
Atelier AREP S.R.L. does not store full credit card details. Payments are processed through specialized payment service providers.
The order is processed after payment is confirmed. The final order button must clearly indicate that placing the order constitutes a payment obligation.
7. Delivery
Delivery terms, estimated delivery times, costs, and packaging methods are described in the “Delivery and Payment” section.
The risk of loss or damage to the product is transferred to the buyer at the moment the buyer or a person designated by the buyer takes physical possession of the product, except in cases provided for by law.
8. Returns, Refunds, and Warranty
The terms regarding the right of withdrawal, returns, refunds, and the statutory warranty of conformity are described in the “Returns, Refunds, and Warranty” section.
Products that are customized or made to the buyer’s specifications may be excluded from the right of withdrawal, in accordance with the law, except in cases where they are non-compliant, damaged, or incorrectly delivered.
9. Copyright
All images, artwork, text, photographs, descriptions, graphics, and visual elements on the website are protected by copyright and belong to Radu Emanoil Pavel/AREP/Atelier AREP S.R.L., unless otherwise noted.
The purchase of a physical artwork or a print does not transfer copyright to the image to the buyer. Reproduction, scanning, printing, distribution, publication, modification, or commercial use of the image without the written consent of the copyright holder is prohibited.
10. Limitations on Use of the Website
Users agree not to use the website for any illegal, fraudulent, or abusive purposes, or in any way that may affect the website’s operation, security, or the rights of others.
We reserve the right to restrict access to the site or cancel orders in the event of abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise non-compliant use of these terms.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect legislative, operational, or commercial changes. The version applicable to an order is the one available on the website at the time the order is placed.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes will be resolved amicably, and if this is not possible, by the competent authorities or courts, in accordance with applicable law.
