4. Original Works on MDF

Description and Intended Use

Original works on MDF are wall decorations intended for display in indoor spaces. The products are made on a rigid support and may include a multidirectional mounting system that allows the orientation of the artwork to be selected and adjusted.

The dimensions, weight, technique, support and type of mounting system are stated on each product page.

Mounting and Safety Instructions

Only install the product on a stable wall that is capable of supporting its weight.

Use screws, wall plugs and other fixing elements suitable for the wall material and appropriately rated for the weight of the product. Fixings must be selected according to the type of wall, including concrete, brick, masonry, plasterboard or other materials.

If you are unsure which fixing system should be used, seek assistance from a qualified person.

Follow the mounting instructions supplied with the product. Before placing the artwork onto the mounting system, make sure that the support is firmly and securely attached to the wall.

When mounting the artwork or changing its orientation, hold the product with both hands and avoid applying excessive pressure to its edges. After changing its orientation, make sure that the artwork is fully and securely positioned on the mounting system.

Do not use the product if the mounting system, support, fixing components or panel show cracks, deformation, detachment or other damage that may affect stability.

Do not modify or drill into the mounting system and do not replace its components with incompatible parts.

Periodically check the stability of the mounting system, particularly after repositioning the artwork or carrying out work on the wall.

Care and Storage Conditions

The product is intended for indoor use only.

Avoid direct contact with water, excessive humidity, condensation, extreme temperatures, direct heat sources and open flames.

Avoid impacts, scratches, bending or excessive pressure on the surface and edges.

Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use abrasive products, solvents or large amounts of water.

5. Original Works on Paper

Description and Intended Use

Original works on paper are unique decorative works intended for display in indoor spaces. They are supplied unframed and may be rolled for packaging and transport, depending on their size.

Each work is identified by its individual name and product code and is accompanied, where applicable, by a certificate of authenticity.

Use and Care

Framing the artwork before display is recommended. Use a frame suitable for its dimensions and weight.

When mounting the frame on a wall, use fixing elements suitable for the wall material and rated for the combined weight of the frame and artwork. Follow the instructions supplied by the manufacturer of the frame or mounting system.

Handle the artwork with clean, dry hands. Avoid bending, folding, scratching or pressing its surface.

If the artwork was delivered rolled, unroll it carefully and allow it to flatten in a clean, dry environment. Do not attempt to flatten it by forcefully bending it in the opposite direction.

Protect the artwork against contact with water, excessive humidity, condensation and direct heat sources.

To reduce fading over time, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or strong sources of ultraviolet light.

Paper and the materials used in the artwork are combustible. Do not expose the product to open flames or intense heat sources.

Do not apply cleaning products, water, solvents or other substances directly to the surface of the artwork.
